Emma joined Maylands Physiotherapy at the end of 2015 as a physiotherapist and Pilates instructor.

Education
She holds a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) from Curtin University and is a Certified Practitioner of Pilates for Rehabilitation, having obtained her qualification through Polestar Pilates.

Emma is broadening her skill set by continuing her training in Anatomical Acupuncture (Dry Needling) and Muscle Energy Technique to treat the lumbar spine and pelvis, and cervicothoracic spine and rib cage. She combines this with a good understanding of fundamental physiotherapy and how the stability and mobility of each joint can have an affect on the function of other body parts both above and below.

Career
Emma is able to incorporate manual physiotherapy, one-on-one rehabilitation, and Pilates classes into the treatment of her clients to give a very well rounded approach.

She is a passionate practitioner, dedicated to identifying the underlying cause of pain and discomfort and helping others recover from injury and continue their desired activities.

Emma is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and a certified Pilates instructor who achieves amazing results with her clients, making her a highly valued member of the Maylands Physiotherapy team.
